The ride to Monument Valley isn’t
too far, but it was a hot one. We stopped one last time in The Grand Canyon for
a quick bite and then on to AZ 64 to AZ 160.

Along the way we stopped at
a viewpoint and ran into a couple taking their own wedding pictures.

We arrived at The View Hotel
around 3:30 and got checked into a room with a beautiful view of the valley.

We did get a surprise when
we went to find a beer. It seems The View Hotel is located on an Alcohol Free
Navajo Reservation. We had an O’Doul’s. I did not like it.
